Relaxing in Flanders

Family campsite Jocomo Parc is located on the edge of the largest forest and nature area in Flanders: Hoge Kempen National Park. This beautiful 5,700-hectare nature reserve is made up of vast pine forests, unspoilt stream valleys and wide-open heathlands. It is the perfect destination for nature lovers and adventurers, with plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and discovering the many activities in the surrounding area.

There is also plenty to enjoy on the campsite itself. There is an outdoor swimming pool with a separate shallow paddling pool and play equipment for younger children. The pool area has a spacious sunbathing lawn with loungers. Next to the pool is a rowing pond where you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip. During the high season, various water activities are also organised on the pond. Right beside the rowing pond is the cosy pool bar, open in good weather during July and August. On the terrace, you can enjoy a refreshing drink or an ice cream. The campsite also has a welcoming tavern with a beautiful terrace, where simple meals and local beers are served daily during the high season. There is also a snack bar where you can pick up chips and snacks.

Directly next to the tavern is a large playground, allowing you to keep an eye on the children while relaxing on the terrace. There are also play areas and sports facilities in other parts of the campsite, including a football pitch, pétanque courts, a panna cage, tennis court and badminton court. In bad weather, children can have fun in the youth centre. This cosy space, with a comfortable seating area and fun games, is the perfect place to make new friends. During the high season and on weekends around Ascension and Pentecost, the enthusiastic entertainment team organises activities for both children and adults.
