1. Reservation
- Bookings can be made via the Glamping4all BV website or by telephone. Glamping4all BV requires the following details: the booker’s name and address details, e-mail address, the ages of all accompanying travellers and whether any optional extras are to be added. The person entering into an agreement on behalf of or for the benefit of another person is jointly and severally liable for all obligations arising from the agreement. Each (other) traveller is liable for their own share. Obvious errors and mistakes in any publication are not binding on Glamping4all BV.
- Offers on the Glamping4all BV website are subject to availability and may be withdrawn by Glamping4all BV at any time. If an offer for a particular destination or accommodation is withdrawn, alternative prices will apply.
- After each reservation for accommodation on a campsite and following approval by the campsite, Glamping4all BV will issue a confirmation confirming the reservation. The booking confirmation states: the reservation number, reservation date, duration of stay, destination(s), total travel price and the name of the booker with the number of accompanying travellers using the accommodation. The booker will receive the booking confirmation by e-mail.
- If it appears that the reserved accommodation cannot be provided, Glamping4all BV will inform the booker immediately and offer an alternative of comparable standard wherever possible. If the booker does not accept this alternative, Glamping4all BV will immediately arrange reimbursement of all payments received.
- In all cases, the booker is responsible for carrying the necessary (travel) documents, such as a valid passport/identity card, any required visas, proof of inoculations and vaccinations, driving licence, green card, etc. If the trip cannot be undertaken (in full) due to the absence of any (valid) document, this and all resulting consequences are at the booker’s expense.
2. Payment
- Upon conclusion of the agreement, a deposit equal to 30% of the total agreed travel price must be paid. This amount must be received by Glamping4all BV no later than 14 days after the reservation date.
- The balance of the travel price must be received by Glamping4all BV no later than eight weeks before the day of arrival. In the event of late payment, the booker will be in default. Glamping4all BV will notify the booker in writing and grant a further seven working days to settle the outstanding amount. If payment is still not received, Glamping4all BV reserves the right to cancel the reservation and the booker will be liable for the cancellation costs (see cancellation conditions).
- In the event of negligent payment, all judicial and extrajudicial costs will be borne by the booker. Statutory interest will also be charged on the outstanding amount from the month following the payment due date as stated in the booking confirmation.
- If a reservation is made within eight weeks of the departure date, the full travel price must be paid immediately.
3. Changes to a reservation
- Subject to availability, it is possible to change the campsite, period or accommodation (in relation to the number of persons). An administration fee of €30 per change will be charged. Such a change may also result in a price increase to be charged or a partial cancellation.
- For changes that involve a partial cancellation (for example, shortening the reserved period), the cancellation conditions apply to that part.
- No charges will be made for changes requested within seven days of the booking confirmation date, except for changes to reservations made within eight weeks of arrival.
4. Cancellation of the reservation / withdrawal
4.1 The services provided by Glamping4all BV (rental of accommodation) are legally excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
This means that once the agreement has been concluded, the booker cannot cancel the agreement under the statutory withdrawal right. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise requiring cancellation. We therefore offer the option to cancel the agreement, subject to compensation payable to Glamping4all BV as follows:
- Cancellation up to 8 weeks before arrival at the accommodation: 30% of the rental sum and the reservation costs will be charged.
- Cancellation between 8 weeks and 4 weeks before arrival: 60% of the rental sum and the reservation costs will be charged.
- Cancellation within 4 weeks of arrival and up to the day of departure: the full travel price will be charged.
We recommend taking out cancellation insurance with an insurer. A cancellation must always be confirmed in writing. The date of receipt will be regarded as the cancellation date.
4.2 Cancellation by Glamping4all BV. In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, Glamping4all BV may terminate the reservation.
Force majeure and unforeseen circumstances include:
- The accommodation being in such a condition that it is no longer suitable for rental (for example due to flooding or forest fire);
- The accommodation no longer being available for rental due to the sudden sale of the campsite or bankruptcy of the campsite owner;
- A double booking made by the campsite owner.
Glamping4all BV will inform the booker immediately, by telephone or in writing, stating the reasons.
- In such cases, Glamping4all BV will offer accommodation of equal or higher standard at the same travel price. The equivalence of the alternative accommodation will be assessed by Glamping4all BV based on location, accommodation category, facilities and any preferences stated at the time of booking.
- If Glamping4all BV cannot offer a suitable alternative or if the booker does not accept the proposed alternative, Glamping4all BV will refund any travel price already paid.
- Glamping4all BV cannot be held liable for services booked independently by the booker (for example: airline tickets, car hire, ferry crossings, coach travel, etc.).
5. Accommodation
- Each rental accommodation specifies a maximum occupancy. The total number of persons per booking must not exceed the stated maximum for the relevant accommodation.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodation.
- Pets are permitted in the accommodation only if pets are allowed on the campsite. The presence of a pet must be stated at the time of booking. The booker is responsible for complying with the conditions and regulations of the holiday country regarding pets (see the website of EU rules on traveling with pets, europa.eu). Pets may not be left alone in the accommodation or allowed on the beds. The campsite reserves the right to charge additional cleaning costs if a pet is brought.
- The placement of an additional small tent must be requested in advance and may be permitted only with the campsite’s approval and provided that the accommodation’s maximum occupancy is not exceeded.
- Any damage to the accommodation or inventory, or missing inventory, must be reported immediately to the campsite reception. The matter will be resolved on site with the booker.
- The booker and accompanying travellers must comply with the campsite’s house rules.
6. Review
- Glamping4all collects reviews via the Feedback Company/WebwinkelKeur platform.
- By submitting a review, the booker grants permission for it to be published on our website.
- Feedback Company/WebwinkelKeur will also publish the review on their own website.
7. Liability
- Glamping4all BV accepts no liability for loss, theft, damage or injury suffered by or caused by the booker and accompanying travellers in connection with accommodation offered via Glamping4all BV.
- The owner of a pet is liable for any damage or contamination caused by the pet.
- Participation in activities organised on or by the campsite is entirely at one’s own risk.
- A booker or accompanying traveller who causes or may cause nuisance or disturbance may, after a warning, be removed from the accommodation and excluded from further stay by the campsite owner, without entitlement to a refund.
8. Complaints
- If the booker identifies an error or shortcoming at the destination, it is expected that this will be reported immediately to the campsite reception. This can often prevent further inconvenience or complaints. If this is not possible, the complaint must be reported to Glamping4all BV during the stay by telephone or in writing. Glamping4all BV will attempt to resolve the complaint during the stay and will respond in writing no later than 14 days after return.
- We recommend first submitting complaints to us by e-mail at reservering@glamping4all.com. If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to submit the dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur at https://www.webwinkelkeur.nl/kennisbank/consumenten/geschil. Since 15 February 2016, consumers in the EU are also able to submit complaints via the European Commission’s ODR platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. If your complaint is not already being handled elsewhere, you are free to lodge it via the European Union platform.
- Glamping4all BV is not responsible for external influences such as weather conditions, construction or maintenance work on site, pests, noise, odour or water nuisance, the operation of campsite facilities (including swimming pools and Wi-Fi) and circumstances for which the campsite owner is responsible. Glamping4all BV cannot accept liability for these matters. Please also note that outside the high season (July/August) not all listed campsite facilities may be open and/or available. This often depends on the number of guests on the campsite. Glamping4all BV accepts no liability in this respect.
9. Membership of the Vereniging van Kleinschalige Reisorganisaties (VvKR)
Glamping4all BV is a member of the Vereniging van Kleinschalige Reisorganisaties (VvKR). VvKR represents the interests of small, often specialist travel organisations. Through VvKR we combine our strengths and share expertise to achieve the greatest possible assurance and satisfaction for both travel organisations and consumers. Glamping4all BV does not sell package holidays and is therefore not affiliated with a guarantee scheme.
