Luxury Glamping in Beautiful Verdon
In Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon you'll find the Verdon les Grands Domaines campsite. Set on the banks of the River Verdon, this campsite sits on a hillside in the heart of the forest. A place to fully unwind and recharge. The 150-hectare estate is located in a protected natural area. Thanks to direct access to the Verdon, the campsite is an ideal base for exploring the stunning surroundings and enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities.
Verdon les Grands Domaines campsite offers an outdoor swimming pool, volleyball court, table tennis, boules and an archery range. During high season, there is entertainment for children aged 4 to 17. A variety of workshops are organised, including woodworking, astronomy and Italian cookery classes. There are also treasure hunts for the whole family. In the evenings, festive events are held, including the “Nuits Magiques de St-Laurent du Verdon” festival.
For a water adventure, you can hire a canoe, paddleboard or pedalo. From the campsite, you can easily reach the lakes of Artignosc and Montpezat, where you can take a refreshing swim beneath the cliffs. The Baume Bonne cave is located on the edge of the estate and can be reached on foot.
On the campsite there is a grocery shop for daily essentials and fresh bread rolls. There is also a snack bar with a terrace where you can enjoy ice creams, pancakes and cold drinks. In addition, there is a restaurant called “Comme à la maison”, serving generous, home-style cuisine.
The campsite is located at an altitude of 470 metres and offers many shaded pitches. Our luxury tents are equipped with a living area, bedrooms with comfortable beds, a fully fitted kitchen, private bathroom and a large veranda.
The Gorges du Verdon offer a breathtaking natural spectacle. With dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters and untouched biodiversity, this area is a perfect destination for lovers of watersports, hiking and outdoor adventure.
