Small-scale glamping on the peaceful Lake Idro
On the western shore of Lake Idro, in the charming village of Anfo, you will find Lago Idro Glamping Boutique. A small-scale, car-free campsite with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. Here, you won’t find mass tourism or busy promenades, but peace, nature and Italian charm. The campsite opened in 2021 and has a modern layout. The atmosphere is friendly and easy-going, making it ideal for young families.
On the campsite, you will find a small outdoor swimming pool (1.80 metres deep) with sun loungers and parasols. There is a slide for children and a jacuzzi for complete relaxation. Lake Idro is quite literally on your doorstep. Around 150 metres away, you will reach a lovely pebble beach where you can swim or hire a paddleboard or kayak.
Lago Idro Glamping Boutique is well-organised, clean and child-friendly. As the campsite is car-free, children can play safely and freely. For younger guests, there is a playground and the Spotty kids’ club. The entertainment team organises daily activities such as crafts, games and mini discos. Older children can enjoy table tennis, football and a variety of sporting activities on and around the lake.
On the campsite, you will find a modern and stylish restaurant with a terrace, serving pizzas, pasta and other Italian dishes prepared with local ingredients. Italian evenings with live music are regularly organised. There is also a bar and a minimarket where you can buy fresh bread and daily essentials.
All our glamping accommodations are set among greenery and combine outdoor living with comfort. They are equipped with a private bathroom, comfortable beds, a fully fitted kitchen and a spacious veranda.
Lake Idro is one of the most beautiful and tranquil lakes in northern Italy. Authentic villages, mountains and crystal-clear water make this an ideal destination for nature lovers. It is also a wonderful place to stay outside the high season.
