Shaded setting on the Tuscan coast
Campo dei Fiori is set among pine trees on the Tuscan coast, close to the beach of Vada. The coolness of the Mediterranean vegetation and the proximity of the sea ensure a pleasant stay, even during the hottest hours of the day. All facilities are centrally located on this lively campsite. There is a swimming pool with a shallow paddling pool, surrounded by luxury sun loungers with parasols. There is a welcoming bar by the pool, and you can also enjoy lunch and dinner on the restaurant terrace. The campsite has a small shop with regional products and a basic range.
For children there is a lovely playground, some farm animals and a kids’ club. There are many sports facilities such as a football pitch, volleyball court, tennis courts, table tennis and archery. There is also a vegetable garden where children can harvest produce and prepare it in a small meal. In the evenings, the entertainment team organises a varied programme.
Our safari tents are centrally located in the shade of the pine trees. Set on spacious pitches surrounded by greenery, our accommodation offers relaxation and comfort in harmony with nature.
The beach of Vada is less than a 10-minute walk away, a natural sandy beach with a gentle slope into the sea. In high season, a free beach shuttle runs there. If you fancy a change of scenery, the beautiful white beaches of Bagno la Laterna (4 km) come highly recommended. The campsite hires out bicycles and a cycle path leads from the site to the centre of Vada (2 km). The larger seaside resort of Cecina is a 10-minute drive away. For a day of culture, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Volterra and Pisa are perfect destinations. If you visit San Gimignano, don’t forget to enjoy an ice cream from the famous gelato maker Dondoli.
