Enjoy Authentic Umbria
Set on a hillside in the picturesque Umbrian countryside, Camping Luna del Monte is a small-scale campsite offering a peaceful and intimate glamping experience. The campsite is located close to the charming medieval village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina. From the campsite, you'll enjoy spectacular views across rolling hills dotted with sunflowers, wheat fields and woodland.
With just 35 pitches and comfortable safari tents, the campsite offers a wonderful combination of tranquillity and modern comfort. There's a swimming pool with a shallow section, ideal for little ones, as well as panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Next to the pool, you'll find the bar and terrace, where you can enjoy delicious cocktails, ice creams and snacks. Children can have fun in the playground, on the trampoline or at the table tennis table.
There are two restaurants within walking distance of the campsite serving Italian dishes, including delicious pizzas. It's also well worth dining at one of the restaurants in the village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, where traditional cuisine is served alongside a warm village atmosphere.
Our safari tents are located either in the heart of the campsite or on the edge of the woodland and come with every comfort, including a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom and two bedrooms. The tents also feature a large, welcoming veranda with a canopy.
The area around Luna del Monte is perfect for lovers of nature and culture. Several walking and cycling routes start near the campsite and take you through the gently rolling hills. For a cultural day out, a number of attractive towns and cities can be reached within a short drive.
