This lively family campsite is all about enjoying yourself, with long days on the beach and sociable evenings. The campsite is located near La Palmyre, in the Charente-Maritime region. It’s an ideal destination for families who enjoy an active holiday but also want to relax in natural surroundings.
Camping Palmyre Loisirs is a spacious, well-equipped campsite. The large water park features lagoon-style swimming pools, waterslides, a water playground and a lazy river. There are also jacuzzis and massage beds. And even when the weather is less than perfect, you’re covered thanks to the indoor swimming pool.
The campsite has sports pitches, tennis courts, a mini-golf course, a pétanque court, table tennis, a fitness room and bicycle hire. During the high season, the entertainment team organises a fun-filled programme. Children can enjoy the mini club or circus school, while in the evenings the campsite comes alive with shows, music and entertainment.
For a meal, you can visit the restaurant or snack bar, serving everything from local specialities to pizza and quick bites. Enjoy a drink on the bar terrace. There is also a supermarket for everyday essentials and fresh bread.
Our glamping tents are spread throughout the green, wooded surroundings, with plenty of shade and privacy. As you would expect, the accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay: good-quality beds, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious veranda.
The campsite’s location close to the Atlantic coast makes it particularly appealing. Within just a few minutes, you can be on the beach, where you can swim, soak up the sun or head into the waves. The surrounding area also has plenty to offer. Explore the forests of La Coubre, climb the lighthouse for stunning views or visit the lively seaside resort of Royan. For families, a day at the famous La Palmyre Zoo is an absolute must.
