Camping Lac du Causse

Dordogne, Glamping in France

Glamping with views over Lac du Causse

Camping Lac du Causse is located directly on the shores of Lac du Causse, a large lake in the Corrèze. A small-scale terraced campsite with views over the lake and the rolling countryside. The campsite sits right by the lake with a sandy beach, and also features a swimming pool with a new water play area and an adjoining terrace where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. In high season, this is also the setting for various performances. During the summer holidays, there is a spectacular weekly show on the water. The campsite organises numerous activities and entertainment for the whole family. There is a campsite shop for fresh bread, and a supermarket for more extensive shopping just a six-minute drive away. Please note: in low season, not all facilities may be available at this destination.

The safari tents are centrally located on the campsite, close to the pool and snack bar. They are fully equipped with kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom and a spacious terrace.

The lake is a true paradise for watersports enthusiasts. In addition to swimming, you can canoe, pedal boat, row, kayak, paddleboard, sail or water ski. A watersports centre is located right next to the campsite. From the campsite, you can enjoy beautiful walks through the forests, and there are mountain bike trails. The campsite also has its own mountain bike course. Don’t miss the walking path that runs around the entire lake. Camping Lac du Causse is situated in the Dordogne Valley, a natural area surrounded by hills and charming villages. A wonderful setting for many days out.

Camping Lac du Causse is just over an hour’s drive from Bergerac, making it ideal to fly into and hire a car there.
