Enjoy the IJsselmeer
Villa Vakantiepark IJsselhof is a lively holiday park on the shores of the IJsselmeer, surrounded by vast fields and picturesque villages. It's the perfect destination for watersports enthusiasts, with opportunities for sailing and windsurfing. But the park itself also offers plenty of entertainment for all ages. There is a heated indoor swimming pool and a recreational lake with a beach nearby. And if you enjoy (carp) fishing, this is the place to be. With several jetties and a beautiful fishing pond, there is plenty of space to cast your line.
At Villa Vakantiepark IJsselhof, you'll find both an indoor play area and several outdoor playgrounds. There is a sports field for a game of football or volleyball, and right next to the park you can enjoy mini golf, bowling, pool and tennis. During the school holidays, there is an extensive entertainment programme. The park has a pony ranch with a friendly group of ponies. Children can go for a ride every day and, under supervision, help brush and cuddle the ponies. Next to the park is a lovely petting zoo with rabbits, goats and chickens.
Next to the park you'll find the pancake and restaurant ‘Anytime’ and the à la carte restaurant ‘De Polder’. For a quick bite, there is a snack bar. Within a few kilometres, there are also plenty of other excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
In addition to holiday homes and apartments, Villa Vakantiepark IJsselhof has offered 10 luxury safari lodges since 2023. These new safari lodges have three bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area and a comfortable veranda with a lounge set.
Hidden behind the West Frisian Ring Dike lies the village of Andijk, a special place with a rich history. Beautiful cycling and walking routes lead you to the most stunning spots around Andijk. The harbour is within walking distance.
