Le Grand Dague

Dordogne, Glamping in France

Camping in the natural beauty of the Périgord Blanc

Camping Le Grand Dague is located in the picturesque village of Atur. This beautiful family campsite is surrounded by nature, yet just a short distance from the charming town of Périgueux, the capital of the Dordogne. Here, in the heart of the Périgord Blanc, you can truly unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

The campsite’s water park – one of the largest in the Dordogne – is impressive, featuring a lagoon pool with whirlpools, a toddler pool with a pirate ship, large and smaller swimming pools, and a 90-metre wild water slide. Children will also have endless fun at one of the kids’ clubs, in the large indoor playground, on the multi-sports court, the pétanque court or the air trampoline. The professional entertainment team organises games, tournaments, creative activities and themed evenings every day. The campsite shop stocks everything you might need, from fresh vegetables to local delicacies. If you don’t feel like cooking, the restaurant serves a varied international menu. There is also a takeaway, pizzeria, bar and snack bar.

Our luxury safari lodges are beautifully positioned amongst the deciduous trees on this family-friendly campsite. Each lodge is fully equipped with a private kitchen and bathroom, comfortable beds and a spacious veranda.

The surrounding area is full of rivers, castles, charming villages and hidden caves waiting to be explored. The historic town of Périgueux is just a ten-minute drive away and well worth a visit. With its medieval centre, narrow streets and impressive cathedral, it feels as though time has stood still.

Bergerac Airport is located 55 km from the campsite.
